We love good party food! Especially finger or toothpick food, because they are the perfect size for one satisfying bite. These Butter Tart BBQ Meatballs are a must-have for your next party or holiday, they will satisfy all your cravings in one bite!

Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

-1 LB of lean ground beef

-1 large egg

-1tsp. of SNickelFritz Butter Tart Mustard

-1/3 cup of finely chopped onion

-1/3 cup of bread crumbs

-1/4tsp. of dried parsley

-1/4tsp. of dried garlic powder

-Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

-1 Cup of SNickelFritz Butter Tart BBQ Sauce

-1tsp. of ground paprika

-2Tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce

-Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Make meatballs: To make the meatballs, mix all ingredients in a large bowl (I use a hand mixer with the dough hook attachment for easy and mess-free work) and shape them into small meatballs. I use 1 tablespoon of meat mix per meatball for a good appetizer size; make sure to firmly shape the meatballs or they disintegrate in the sauce.

  2. Cook meatballs: Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and add some oil. Cook the meatballs until browned on the outside and entirely cooked through. OR bake the meatballs at 425°F for 10-12 minutes.

  1. Slow cook with sauce: Once the meatballs are cooked, mix all sauce ingredients in a 3-4 quart slow cooker. Add the meatballs and cook on low for 3-4 hours. The meatballs keep in the slow cooker for another 1-2 hours.

Enjoy them on their own or with rice for a meal!
